Alm Ruler – A Bridge between Worlds
The pixel edge has a simulated 150ppi (pixels per inch) divided up into batches of 10 pixels. It also has measurements indicating the size of an iPhone and iPad screen. This allows you to draw the size of an iPhone and immediately see, to scale, how big your design is. Laying out all of the buttons, and other design elements quickly on paper before heading into the computer and refining it. With the Lindlund ruler you now know exactly the size of your sketch and all the elements in it.
The ruler also hides more features. Such as a rubber coating on the back that prevents you from slipping. Never again will you cut something wrong because your ruler slipped. As an extra bonus from our four measurements is the easy 90 degree angles. By drawing one line and then simply aligning the rulers measurements with the previous line, you are guaranteed a perfect angle every time.
The choice of material and color processing has been based on looks and feel. We wanted something will stand the test of time when it comes to visuals and feel. The choice fell on anodizing our aluminium core, which will help protect it in the long run as well as provide a superior look and feel. Our choice of color is Midnight Black and Luxe Silver.
The Lindlund ruler has been made with design in mind. Whether it is for print, digital, or just for regular old cutting. We have included four different measurements that will help you create for any medium. As you would expect there's the ever-present centimeters and inches, an essential core that we could not do away with. It is a part of the ruler vernacular.
